How to configure the license when installing SuperMap for the first time on a device?
As the first step to trial the SuperMap GIS software, we recommend downloading the SuperMap License Center. Please check the download link we provided.

When you finish downloading the SuperMap License Center compressed file, you need to decompress the zip file of the license center. The license center zip file is an install-free software package, which means you only need to decompress and save the files to the pointed directory.
Open the folder of SuperMap_LicenseCenter, and find the application named "SuperMap.LicenseCenter(for .NET 4.0).exe". Right-click on the application, and select "Run as administrator".
SuperMap License Center will ask you to install the license driver for your machine. Here click Yes. Wait for seconds, and you will get a pop-up with information of the installation success.
If you are using a new device for running the iDesktop(X) and License Center, you will automatically have a new trial license to SuperMap GIS software for 3 months.
What should I do if I can not install my license center?
From my colleague's experience, you may also meet the problem with the failure of installing the SuperMap License Center. Even if you download and run the license center application within the administrator. The reason is there might be some bug with the license center.
Here is the dealing procedure if this bug occurs to you. Appreciate Jeffery Zhang for providing me this approach.
FIRST. Open the browser, go to localhost:1947
SECOND. Select ‘Update/Attach’
THIRD. Select the file from:
C:\SuperMap\SuperMap iDesktop 11i\Tools\SuperMapLicenseCenter\Tools\SuperMap_Trial_License.v2c
Then. Click Apply file
In the end, restart the SuperMap license center. You will finish the procedure of Setting up the SuperMap license center. We also have a video showing how to reset the license center.
