How to apply for a new trial license?
After 3 months of experience, your trial license will be expired. If you want to lengthen the trial license, you need to contact the sales staff of SuperMap to apply for a new 3-month trial license.
With the application, we need to get your computer name to generate your own trial license. Please also write down which SuperMap GIS Software you want to lengthen the trial time as well in the application.
Search "View PC name" in the search bar of your Windows start menu will help you confirm your computer name. We need to know the "Device name" in the list of "Device specifications".

How to configure a new trial license?
After receiving your SuperMap license file by email. You can download and save the attached SuperMap License file first.
By using SuperMap License Center:
Open the folder of SuperMap_LicenseCenter, and find the application named "SuperMap.LicenseCenter(for .NET 4.0).exe". Right-click on the application, and select "Run as administrator".
After the selection, please check the computer name and time series. If they are all correct, click "Update".
Showing that info pop-up means the new trial license is successfully updated on your device.
By copying the license file to the pointed directory:
Delete all the license files and folders in "C:\Program Files\Common Files\SuperMap\License".
Delete all the "*.v2c" files in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\SafeNet Sentinel\Sentinel LDK\installed\99235".
Place the new trial license directly in the directory: "C:\Program Files\Common Files\SuperMap\License". (Make sure the folder in this directory is empty before you copy the new trial license. "C:\Program Files\Common Files\SuperMap\License")

How to deal with the license update failure issue?
If you have difficulties in the configuration of your new trial license, you can try the steps below:
Step 1:
It could be something wrong with your previous configure operations. So, we can clean the below directories and try to update the new trial license again.
Delete all the license files and folders in "C:\Program Files\Common Files\SuperMap\License".
Delete all the "*.v2c" files in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\SafeNet Sentinel\Sentinel LDK\installed\99235".
You can also follow the steps before updating the file by using SuperMap License Center or by copying the license file to the pointed directory.
Step 2:
If the problem still occurs at this stage, consider that the problem may be caused by the too old license driver. You can use the following method to uninstall and reinstall the license driver.
Before uninstalling the license driver, you should clean the below directories:
Delete all the license files and folders in "C:\Program Files\Common Files\SuperMap\License".
Delete all the "*.v2c" files in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\SafeNet Sentinel\Sentinel LDK\installed\99235".
Follow the images below to run the cmd in the "support\SuperMapLicenseCenter\Tools" directory in the root directory of the iDesktopX folder. Make sure the cmd is running the command under "*iDesktopX_root_directory*\support\SuperMapLicenseCenter\Tools".
Execute the command ".\SuperMap_Trial_License.exe -purge" in the cmd. Then execute the command ".\SuperMap_Trial_License.exe -r" in the cmd.
Restart your computer.
Then install the license center. We provide two ways.
Approach 1, run the cmd in the "support\SuperMapLicenseCenter\Tools" directory in the root directory of the iDesktopX folder again. Execute ".\SuperMap_Trial_License.exe -i" in the cmd
Approach 2, run the SuperMap License Center as administrator. If there is no license driver in your system, you will be prompted to install the license driver when you open the SuperMap License Center application. Click to confirm the installation.
Afterward, you can renew the license in the same way as in the previous section.
